5 Tips to keep your Makeup from Melting this Summer
It’s officially summer, and it’s hot! So hot, that many ladies tend to go out sans makeup because they don’t want it to end up melting into their mojito. However, Last Tangle wanted to share four makeup tips with you for a meltproof made up face that were featured on Allure.com.
1. It’s Time to Prime.
Make your foundation last longer by applying a pea-size dot of a lightweight, oil-free primer to a moisturized face before you apply concealer and foundation.
2. Be Dense.
Use a densely pigmented cream formula that is not liquidy to keep your concealer from melting away and revealing all those blemishes.
3. Seal it with Silicone
If you have to have a full face of foundation on a hot day, use a lightweight silicone-based formula. The silicone acts as a film between your skin and the humidity, preventing foundation from seeping into your pores or dribbling down your chin. – Allure.com
4. Go Light.
The less foundation you have on, the less there is to sweat off. Simply use a dampened makeup sponge to apply it so that it goes on light and sheer.Make sure you give it a minute to set before you apply the rest of your makeup.

As a make up artsit I love that dewy look. I agree with going light on the foundation and keeping the skin looking fresh. Great tips!
