The fall makeup season is almost here. Soon it will be time for intense lip color and defined eyes that have a bold pop. During the winter time there is a need for makeup with richer hydrating formulas that lock in moisture. If you are wondering what basics you need in your makeup arsenal for the fall, here are a few tips featured on styleite.com for a great fall look.
- Skin. You need non-drying cleansers, preferably creams and oils are best for removing makeup. Make sure they are non-soap based.
- Base. Use a primer to help keep your foundation in place all day long and for foundation, if you want to add radiance stick with one that has a pink or pearlescent sheen.
- Eyes. Smoky eyes are great during the cooler months. You can blend two dark shades together with a smudging brush. Line the inner rims with a lighter highlight shadow and use metallics and shimmer for dramatic look.
- Lips. There is a shade of red for everyone. If you have fair skin and hair with some pinkish tones a cool red is best. Olive skin tones need an orange or cherry red. Dark skin and burgundy lips go together beautifully.
